Montreal Day 1
Well, I guess it's kinda late to be writing all these :P But they were very interesting experiences! This was one of my favorite trips while in Canada~ (Well, not that I went to a lot of places, just Toronto, Niagara Falls, Montreal and New York.)
Montreal Day 1Montreal's a city in the province of Quebec, Canada. It's largely a French speaking community; most of the public transport and road signs are in French, the people speak mostly French here too, though most of them know English (I suppose). Montreal is also home to McGill University.
Anyways, the bus ride from Toronto is like 10 hours xDD I think we reached late morning, so we checked in to our hostel, and went to travel around Montreal. Quite bad because it was raining haha.
Lunch was at this restaurant called Copper's or Nickel's, I can't remember anymore xD

Full course meal for lunch??? Soup, meat loaf and dessert~
With our tummies filled, our first stop was to
McGill! Where we were supposed to meet up with Fabian, Deming's friend. And then climb Mt Royal.

Founder of McGill!
Redpath Museum at McGill!McGill's quite a pretty campus, very spacious. But I still prefer UofT; liked the buildings and the grid layout of the school (: (Well am a bit biased too of course ;))
The museum is just like any other museum la, check out my pictures on FB k xD
It's more nature related. And a bit of history.

And now we're on our way of
Mt. Royal. Not fun ok, it's a mountain =/ You guys know how much I despise exercise right xD
Got left behind T_TWell, that being said, the scenery was actually pretty breath taking and peaceful.
Though the ground was kinda wet and stuff.

Finally reached the top! (:
Fooled around a bit, took photos, and headed back down.
Pretty nice view there...

Also koped from DM
In fact for more photos, please refer to Deming's, his pictures are nicer anyway xD

Anyways, Montreal is really artsy and has nice buildings
everywhere.

Subway station, toilet break
We made a short trip down to Old Montreal, and Notre Dame, but it was late already, so we left the actual visitation to the next day.
At night we had dinner at
Chinatown; which wasn't as big as Toronto's! HAH :x And hm, we booked tickets for a day trip to Old Quebec, a beautiful beautiful place.
I know we went to
Gay Village one night, but which night I don't remember. Nothing much except the rainbow flags with only 6 colors, and male couples in restaurants :D
Also went to a pub at night, but I didn't drink of course :D *good girl*
Okay, I'm supposed to have tuition tmr ._.
