Montreal Day 2
lols it's been one year since I left for Canada, and I haven't finished this :x

Montreal Day 2
Pretty exciting 2nd day. Went to various places, Notre Dame, Old Port, Old Montreal, Parc Olympique, Biodome!

This is the train station near our hostel!

They've like different names for the train systems in the different provinces. In Montreal it's STM (Short Term Memory?? Haha, it's smth Train Montreal ba. French xD) Btw, in Toronto it's TTC, Toronto Train Commission (I think)

First stop is Notre Dame.
Very very nice church!

The place is full of stained glass!! So nice!!

And candles. You can deposit 2 CND, and light a candle (:

Taken from the side.

Pipe organ at the back!

Perhaps a slightly better photo?

Well, anyway my photos don't look any justice to the place. SO MUST GO SEE YOURSELF :D :D :D

Next is Old Port! Well, I don't think it's a port anymore.. I only saw yatches there :x Maybe that's why it's Old Port.

There were lots of trees there, so we saw many many autumn colors~ ♥

Okay now for the more PORT side of the Old Port xD

Anyway we took lots of throwing leaves photos here xD

And then turn to Old Montreal. It's this place with lots of nice buildings (sorry for my limited vocab).

I think this place feels a bit just a bit, like Harry Potter streets xD Diagon Alley or smth?

Had lunch! Poutine, must eat in Montreal. It's kinda like fries with gravy. Mine's onion and mushroom. But it's very fattening ah :x

Then it's Olympic Park.

The stadium!

Reclined tower!

Inside

On top of the swimming pools was this. Probably for the camera crew?? Pretty high and scary =/

Nearby is the Biodome. As the name suggests, BIO = Animals?

The place is divided into 4 sections.
1) Tropical

SG have also? :3

SG don't have?

Beaver~

Haha, this one SG SURE DON'T HAVE. LYNX! I think this is the American/Canada section le, opps. Ok checked. Laurentian Forest.

3) St. Lawrence Marine ecosystem

Opps never take anything interesting here :x

4) Arctic/Antarctic

Here got a few kinds of birds also, but penguins are best!

Penguins watching free show :x

These penguins are trying to swim against the tide :x

Penguins are so cute ♥

I think Biodome is too small la. I like Singapore Zoo better. Or maybe Toronto Zoo! Which I shall update dunno when next time.

And... we're done! Then I guess we went to Gay Village on this day. It's just a road, which has lots of rainbow flags with 6 colors x3 And male couples in restaurant. nodnod

Yay! I updated :x
